How are per-order fees paid?
What's the on-file credit card for?

How per-order fees are paid:
  • When a customer pays for their order online we deduct the 50 cent per-order fee directly before it goes into your Stripe balance, and then to your bank account.
  • If a customer pays in-store instead of online we add that 50 cent per-order fee to a monthly balance to be charged to your credit card at the end of the month.

Basically online payments see the 50 cent fee deducted immediately before depositing into your bank account and offline in-store payments their 50 cent fees are added up and charged to the credit card at the end of the month.

Example scenario:

In the month of April your store receives 40 FastCurb orders. 30 of these orders were paid for online through FastCurb and 10 were paid for directly to you in-store rather than online.

Each of the 30 orders paid for online will have the per-order fee (typically 50 cents per order) deducted immediately before being deposited into your Stripe balance and then into your bank account.

The 10 orders paid for in-store will be added to your balance due for the month. At the end of the month your credit card on file will be charged this balance; $5.00 in this case.

Per-order fees are not collected for cancelled or fully refunded orders.
